HDi clutch- aargh!!!

Post by HDiAndy »

Think my clutch is on the way out, had the car re-mapped in March, noticed a bit of slip in 5th if i booted it (which i have tried to avoid obviously) but now it is slipping in 4th and sometimes 3rd on inclines under moderate engine load.

Anyone got any recommendations for uprated clutches for the HDi 90?, i don't want my mechanic putting a another OEM clutch in for a 90bhp as i don't think they're man enough for the extra torque and as i understand it the 110 or 136bhp clutch is out of the question because they're incompatible with the non-DMF flywheel (or maybe not???)
Former 406 owner, now just another chav in a 306 D turbo!
