Shaking

Work christmas do last night, so my car's been sitting at work for 2 days. Get in it this evening (below zero temperature), fire it up, and it starts shaking! It felt like one cylinder wasn't firing but revs were steady at 900rpm as normal and it didn't sound any different! When it warmed up a little (still hadn't moved by this point) the shaking stopped.
Any ideas?

Put a scarf around it!
Sounds like a misfire, condensation on the leads?

The poor thing was scared, you cannot just go abandoning the poor dear on these cold winter nights

Mine does it too but only when it's really cold.
My Xantia which had the same engine also did it so I'm going with "characteristic" rather than fault. Which means I don't have to fix it

.
New glow plugs might sort it, if one isn't working it might take that cylinder a second to get going.
Cheers

It wasn't mis-firing, I'm pretty sure of that because there's a drastic increase in noise if you pull a lead off. Wonder if one of the injectors was playing up though...
