1.9 TD LX Servicing Questions

Once the Christmas fallout's finished I'll be carrying out a full service, a brake fluid change and a coolant flush and change.

As I'll be doing it away from a ramp I'll be putting the front end on axle-stands to get access to the underbody. My only concern is getting to the cylinder block's coolant drain plug. I know it's to the rear of the block, but where is it exactly and will I have enough room to get at it with the car on stands?

If anyone has any photos or diagrams showing its location that would be really useful. :?:

9 times out of 10 theres usually a drain on the radiator that you can remove to let the coolant out. its usually on the bottom right of the radiator.

Haynes says there is a drain plug on the block, but there are no pictures :(

That's what I'm going from, since this is a new car to me. The plug on the Rad is no problem, but I can't look for the block plug until it's up on stands. :?

It'll probably be quite obvious since I'd imagine the reason it's there in the first place is to allow complete draining when the car's jacked up at an angle.

Ta for the quick replies! :)
