Usually a sign that something isn't shut, check bonnett & boot, do interior lights go out when you shut doors & boot?

usually its a door not shut properly, if it has an alarm and the bonnet isnt shut then it wont lock either, does it do this with the remote or with the key in the door

Didn't someone have the same problem a couple of months back? I can't remember how he fixed it though, and I'm too tired to do a search for it just now. I think it was one of the microswitches that tells the ecu the doors are shut.
