The wierd thing, I got this car when it had 28k and now it has done 105k, and this "fault" has been about since I got it, the garage I used to take it to told me it happens when there is a random misfire, and they would reset it using the second ECU, or another module accessed via the ecu.
I remember that the fault would always come back after a service, then I would return the car and they would reset it and then it would be fine. Well I changed the aux belt at the weekend and disconnected the ECU and now the fault is back. I plan to buy a cable for my laptop and have a look around to see what codes are there, it would be nice to know what the cause of this alarm really is.
Hopefully after the car has warmed up it won't keeep on flipping beeping
