Try these guys - http://www.simon-dean.co.uk/

It's a bit of a trek, but in a V6 I think you'd enjoy the trip over the Peak District. They're Citroen specialists, but they're practically the same as pugs...

I think its worth pointing out the cambelt kit for a v6 is around £300 (from stealers i think) just for the parts. So its never going to be a cheap job, i'd be concerned if it the price came back too low.

You're kidding surely? The tubby's kit was only about £30 from the stealers...

Nope, not kidding, 3 rollers, tensior and belt (I think this is the 210 bhp version):

00000831L8 MOTOR KIT 272.32 GBP 319.98 GBP 319.98 GBP

I am sure you could probably get it for ~£200 from a motor factors.

I currently looking at buying a v6 coupe, one of the major points to buying/not buying one is when the cam belt was done/will the dealer do it. Hopefully the dealer will not realise how much the parts are and agree to do it thinking its £100 or something :)

Bought my Gates belt online for around £60 then had a local Pug specialist do it for £175........sounds like a bargain after your prices.

That was out in the sticks of Somerset though!!

I've seen pictures of it, and tbh it's put me right off the idea of ever trying to change the belt on this car! Given I only paid £620 for it, I doubt my V6 is ever going to see another belt
