Hi all:
Really need help. Can't find the lower water hose anywhere. Because I am in Hong Kong and dealer said they don't have it and there is a local specialist in Peugeot parts and said he cannot locate one any where.... Anyone know any shop out there have it in stock and will do mail order?
Please Help.... Thank you very much!!

I'm guessing the conrad fitting has corroded? What is actually wrong with the hose?
I've got the tubby as well and had to replace the radiator; the hose was rotten on mine.
Peogeot dealer couldn't get hold of one for 3-4 weeks so I took a top hose from a breakers, cut the connector off and joined it to the bottom hose with a piece of 32mm drain pipe and 2 jubilee clips.

Thanks teamster! Because my radiator is leaking and both upper and lower hose are not in very good shape. I got the upper hose and the radiator already but the lower hose is out of stock. I worry about breaking it when I remove the radiator. As 2.0 turbo is very rare in HK, I heard there are only 5 of them here. I cannot find one in the scrape yard. Do 206 or 306 use similar water hose so I can modify it to fit? Thanks in advance!!!

All you need is a top hose from any model of 406, they all use the conrad fitting.
I got mine from a diesel!
I doubt very much that you'd be able to get the bottom hose off,they get so corroded that they become a permanent fixture; mine was leaking where the connector was actually disintegrating.
Remove the bottom hose from the car; I used mole grips to break the plastic bottom union off the rad.
Measure the length from the elbow in the hose to the end of the conrad connector.
Once you've removed it you can chop the old connector off so you're back to sound hose and join your donor hose & connector back on with the 32mm pipe and clips as a bridge.
Don't over tighten the jubilee clips as they will distort the plastic pipe! (I did that & had to cut another piece

)
Make sure that the length is the same after your repair otherwise you won't get the connector back in the new rad.
I should add that I did this out of desparation but 4 weeks later no leaks so I'm going to leave it as it is!
