Front Brake pad change

Hi

Have done the search on here for advice.

Are there any special tools required when dealing with the front calipers (ie what bolts are on the caliper etc.)

I am adapt at changing various pads on different cars and manufacturers models, but havent done a peugeot 406 yet.

No special tools, although you may want to pop to the dealer first and get a replacement pin just in case - I've had one snap on me and I think I'm not the only one. My dealer had it in stock too, which is a fairly telling sign.
