Yes.

You will be able to travel at speed fine, but as soon as you drop under 30mph with a warm engine you'll overheat in a couple of minutes, if that.
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

would co2 spray help 2 prevent this? because really i dont see the point in having a front mount 2 cover it up the gay fans, lol

what if i kept the fans but behind the front mount with air directed towards them using ducting stuff??

Bit of a silly question really.
The fans are there for a reason, much like the wheels and tyres at each corner of your car!

If you do it right, might work. Remember to reverse the motors, or you'll just blow the air AWAY from the engine!

I think you're shaping up for an overheat though.

cheers, once i take everything off, i'm hoping i can move the fans inplace of the old cooler ( still drawing air towards the engine )

it looks as if there is enough room to mount a new cooler and position the fans further back

dont know if that makes sence to you :S lol

Why would you want to remove the cooling system from the engine? Surley this would result in over heating? These fans tend to be put there for a reason.

They design the engine bay and cooling system accomodation to account for it.
