Can anyone advise on the intervals for cam belt changine on my 1998 2.1td?

And please done tell me its another 'engine out' job!

Is it an easy enough job to do or do i need special tools to do it?

i think thats one of the few jobs that can be done with the engine in place but it is a bit tight to say the least , the interval is 72,000 miles and you will need a timing belt locking set - http://www.lasertools.co.uk/(X(1)S(az54 ... 46&cat=311 . hope that helps
