clutch problem

hi guys - i had a brand new clutch fitted to my peugeot 406 hdi 1999 v reg about 5 months ago....i noticed that as i drove the car away, there is a judder in first gear and also in reverese as well...i took it back to the mechanic who said it just needs bedding in with the flywheel as it was a new clutch and i should give it a few 100 miles and it would be ok..i have now done nearly 1000 miles, dont drive far just to work and back and the judder is still there, specially when im on a hill it seems to be worse....sometimes it is fine for a day or so drives as it should but most of the time its there....the mechanic is a very honest and trusted bloke and was highly recommended..he said the clutch is fitted perfectly...either the new clutch is slightly warped or the flywheel is well worn...i can get a replacement clutch as it is under warranty but im not paying again to have it fitted, then again it could be the flywheel..any ideas guys...cheers ?

Yes, if it's a 110 it could be the flywheel, it could also be an engine mounting of course.
