FIRST PUG EVER

Today I got a mint 95 2L petrol 406 but I aint got the manual yet .Can anyone tell me what that gauge is on the left of the clocks opposit side to the temp gauge.Thanks

Umm, I think thez were making Pugs before 1995...

On D9s it's the oil temp, the level is done on the odometer/service indicator thing. On my D8 it does the oil level, it only works for a few seconds after the ignition goes on, after that it's dead. Hey, maybe it's different on petrol versions :?

Yep my first pug.Gauge has min,max at ends so as you say it'll be oil temp,is the speedo and temp connected ?

As the other guys say it'll be the oil level; I've got a D8 Petrol same as you. When you turn the ignition on you get a light that sweeps round red and orange in colour; where it settles is the oil level. Don't rely on it though!!!!
