Can anyone help ? I have a 1998 406 SX DT (72000 miles). Almost all services have been done on time and have had no faults whatsoever, but has now developed a whistleing sound from the engine that seems to be related to the turbo. whenever the engine revs the whistleing seems to increase in relation to the engine speed. I am concerned the turbo may be faulty, although I have not noticed any real loss in power. Could anybody give any advise ?

After a brief search (hint hint) the consensus seems to be there's an air leak somewhere on the turbo tubing.
