Cheap tuning

Hi, im the new guy.
I have a p-reg 2.1td and want to beat my mates stilo's 9.6 to 60 for as little as possible.
Iv thought about taking it to pugecosse, any feedback?
All advice welcome!
Btw im near glasgow

buy a new car or completely strip out the interior including upholstery and 90% of the body systems electricals

That was my first thought
I suppose it depends how much you're got to spend and how soon you want your engine to self-destruct. I've seen the 2.1 chipped up to 180bhp but I wouldn't think it would last long, it's not really what they're for!

Mine was chipped to 140bhp by Derv Dr. But diesels are not for racing but rather low/mid-range pull... Which the 2.1 has in spades

Thanks, iv removed the sound proof from the bonnet (it fell off)
bought a k+n panel and a set of team dynamics pro race2's
Thinking of getting some black diamond combis then lowering her
Mate sugested putting the engine into a 205 gti bt...
