that the pump in the tank in the 406 hdi 110 est is the same in the saloon and was wondering even if the 405,s are aswell ? as my one has given up now after bashing it for a week or so and i am not buying a new one.

Yep, if you can find a 405 HDi in the breakers... (or indeed, anywhere).

Saloon, estate, looks like coupe too.

There's two on ebay just now, they're both new but 150 quid though (which makes one more expensive than Pug :shock: ), and you need to make sure which one fits yours (Service Box to the rescue). Or you could try the breakers but I don't know if that's a good idea, considering how temperamental these things seem to be. The ring and seal will set you back less than a tenner at the dealers so probably not worth bothering with used garbage.

After taking the pump apart all thats in there is a electric pump ! and sods law i not that long ago sold two holly pumps which would of done the job as there is nothing special about the pump thats in a load of plastic and i have found a site on the net that sells them for £84 !!
