Central Locking Mystery

Well this one has flumoxed me....

The central locking works great when you lock the car via the key and lock but when you use the remote it locks then re-opens immediatly.

I have tried the reprogramme sequence as described in earlier threads but it dosen't work.

On the key fob there are two buttons a big one and a little one.... whats the little one for?

does anyone have any suggestions what could be wrong with it.... call me lazy but i love the remote locking function and need it to work.

cheers

Perhaps the drivers door lock or the solenoid is stiff?

The little button is the dead-locking function (and alarm activation) but must be pressed within a couple of seconds of the large button.

Your locks are popping back because one of the ackchewaitors finks the door hasn't latched.

Sit inside and press the lock button and see if you can quickly spot which door lock button (near the pull handle) isn't moving then home in on this one (that's my idea anyway).

I'm sticking with the drivers door, as the central locking works ok with the key
