Power steering problem

Got a leak somewhere in the power steering system and losing fluid.
Cant see where it is leaking from without taking anything out. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in particular that has a habit of leaking.
Hopefully it is just a loose hose clip somewhere, but any other ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers.

The common one seems to be the feed pipe at the bottom of the reservoir where there's a crimp clip that goes loose and it leaks from there under the engine ECU. If that's the problem then you need to cut it off and put a real jubilee clip on it. Other than that the seals on the pump itself go, not rebuildable I'm afraid.

how many pipes come out of the reservoir.
The other thing that makes me thing that there is a leak at a joint rather than a split pipe is because the level went down, but no further than it did before I had to fill it up. There is a puddle under my car and the front wing is covered in fluid.
I have dried it up and hopefully I can see where it is coming out from and then see what is wrong.
In theory anyway.

One out, one in too I guess. I presume that's inner wing, mine was soaked down under the ECU, around the washer bottle, down the chassis rail and dripping from that. You should be able to see it between the reservoir and the ECU.

Ok, never got chance to take another look at the pipes until today, so it was all soaked again. I have been topping it up and so have not heard the pump struggling, but have gone through about 650mls of fluid in a week covering about 300 miles.
I took off the ECU and top pipe seemed fine, bottom pipe had a jublee clip on, but the screw part seemed a little loose, (the clamp was tight, the screw was loose) so I am hoping it was this and there not being a tight seal around the join and shooting out under pressure. I am more than sure it is coming from closer to the reservoir than lower down as there is oil from the reservoir downwards, unless it is being pushed back when I am driving down the dual carriageway to work?
Anyhow I have tightened it all up properly and need to actually put some pressure to release the jublee clip.
Hopefully that solves it overwise I reckon I may have a cracked reservoir or a split in the hose somewhere that I cant see.

poo pants
I have still got a leak, at least I know it is not coming out of the top where the pipe joins the reservoir as i have had it wrapped up in tissue since I took it off and tightened it, and it is bone dry.
The piece that I wedged under the pip is soaked with power steering fluid. Thing is I couldnt get the pipe off because it is wedged in place and part goes under the coolant reservoir. Do I need to take the coolant reservoir off to access this pipe, or can I try and yank it? it is quite a ridged pipe so wont bend.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I cant seem to find anything about the power steering system in the haynes manual. :(
