With a deep reach 11mm socket to get to cylingders 2, 3 and 4 (from left to right, looking at engine from the front) and an 11mm spanner to get to cylinder 1. I've replaced all 4 on my Mrs 306 HDi, my old 405 1.9TD and my current 2.1TD (which was much harder than the 1.9's). I usually bank on about half an hour to an hour to do all 4. Most of that time will be trying to get cylinder one plug out and back in, and then swearing a lot while trying not to lose all the skin on your knuckles. Also, reconnecting the heater wires and little nuts can be a bit of a pain in the @ss, especially if you're doing it in the cold and your fingers are numb so you can't even tell if you're still holding the nut or not!
