can Launch x431 reset fap counters

Hi was wondering if launch x431 can reset additive counter and do a forced regeneration of fap. 2001 2.2 hdi 66,000 miles
got error codes read--- particule filter overloaded------- fuel filler cap present sensor fault and fuel additive low level reached.
Fap light is on but not the eml so not in limp home mode... was new fap fitted in Jan 08 and fluid topped up then.... only done 6000 miles since...is there a way of checking the additive as I shouldnt have gone through it all in the mileage Ive done... light came on after I filled up car on Wed...will I do much damage ...independent garage cant take car till Tue but dont know much about the fuel additive, they dont know where to fill it etc.... codes were read on their Launch.....

Sorry, Norma - I think Neil Davies & I have the only other 2.2 Hdi's on here & I don't know enough to advise you - at least not yet!
Have you tried http://www.406coupeclub.com/ - there's more info on there as this engine is common in the coupe.

Thanks guys have registered on both and had a good browse through the fap issues
Will get the wheel arch off tomorrow to see if theres any additive in the tank and take it from there...
