I thought i'd put this in here as it is technically engine related.....

What i'm after is a picture of each engine type to put on the wiki pages, i know throughout the members on here we probably have most of the engine variants used in the 406, thought it might benefit someone (i know it would of with my old 406, there were bits missing!). I've got the DW10 ATED HDi which i'll be snapping a picture of later in the day, so if anyone can contribute that would be fantastic, either upload the pic to the wiki, post it on here or email it along and i'll post it up.

I'd send you a pic of my XUD11 but some idiot sprayed it with that ignition sealer stuff (it's a diesel you idiot!) so it looks horrible.

I'm still wondering what to stick on there, I've only done 2 how to's, the fan one has no pics and someone came along and told us how to do it lot easier and the seat heaters, where I didn't have the right tool I don't want to steal anyone's thunder by doing some else's either. I suppose I could do bleeding the bleedin' cooling system. Maybe later, if I'm feeling brave

can do the 1.8 petrol XU7JP4 f you like.

I am also planning on a clutch change at some point in march so will take pics of that if it's not too painful!!

Where do you want pics sent and any size requirements?

I'm still trying to think what to put on there next, just mainly been adding categories and formatting, main thing will be a guide on how to change door/boot locks, looks like thats gonna have to wait 2 weeks till i have time to do it.

If you can send pics to 'nutski at pug406.com', bigger the better on the size really, then if someone needs to check something will hopefully have the resolution to zoom in a bit.

Since i have to pop my bonnet every goddam morning to prime the system, I can snap a pic of my 1.9 on the morrow

I don't know what kind of engine is in mine - it's either :

EW7 J4 - 1.8 16V

or

XU7 JP4 - 1.8 16V

But I'll go and take a photo of it some time this week - need to get some photos of my 406 now that I've got my 307 Rapier alloys on it.

I've taken some pics of my HDi 90 2001, I will send them to you as soon as I can access my PC, this laptop doesn't have a card reader.

One question, I'm going to service my 406 in march, I plan to photograph in detail what I will be doing, I was thinking maybe I could video the whole thing, would that be possible to upload?

Thanks jasper5, in regards to the video thats a superb idea, i've found a few ways to embed video so i'll definately be able to get it on there.
