I've had a "tuning box" on my 90bhp Partner (same engine) for over a year now with no problems. it's assisted my fuel consumption by about 4% whilst inccreasing the torque available - there is obviously a trade off in that if you use the increased power that is available, your fuel consumption will increase. I choose not to and get more mpg with an easier drive.

I know that there are arguments for and against installing these devices or havinf the ECU remapped. Then when you have made the decision to modify, you have to decide which route to take and then which supplier. It is a subjective choice, I've made mine, but it may not suit you and your circumstances or what you want as an end result.

My advice is to do as much research as you can on this and any other Forums/Sites you know of. Try to decide what you want to get in the long run and find out if it's available but don't rush into it.
