It means i can reassemble my 406 lump with a new clutch and gearbox beforehand and just swap out the complete engine/box unit instead of pulling the non-turbo engine, taking off the gearbox, then refitting it to the turbo engine, THEN putting it into the engine bay. Just looking to save 30 minutes.
Question is ... i've heard that the xantia boxes have a different 5th gear ratio. Obviously i heard it on a forum so i've got loads of evidence to support how true this is

Does anybody know if this is true? If so, does it mean i'm going to be going faster or slower in 5th?
Or should i stop being a pussy and just wait and fit the 406 box?
