hI everyone - you may like to note the following.
I discovered a hole in the button of my vehicle key (406 Estate 1998) so popped into the local "friendly" peugeot dealer
to get another one.................. picked myself up off the floor - £104 !!! so jumped up and down and remarked what a
rip-off this is (probably made and assembled by children earning tuppence an hour in some far distant place on the planet) and eventually embarrassed them enough to offer a new button at £4.95 !!!!!!!!. Bear this in mind if you have even get the
same problem. As it happens, my other half took the key to work, and filled the hole with a black silicone compound, let it set and it works perfectly
HaPPY PUGGING !!!!
