So whos got the highest mileage?
How long do these engines last for?
The one i bought has 190K on the clock.. worried abit that the engine might give up soon!

The word "unblowupable" has been thrown around a lot these days...
If looked after, the 1.9 will last for ever and ever. The fuel pump is particularly indestructible. You'll die before it does
Personally I've got 165K, but I often hear of well maintained diesels going 250 and more. Neighbour of mine bought an ex-taxi which had been around the clock twice
Just make sure you do the belts and gaskets REGULARLY.

My 1.9td is still going strong at 209,000 miles!!!
(touch wood...) still runnin smoooooth!!

Blimey!! 209!! Looks like ill be keeping mine for a while then!
Only problem with mine so far is the rocker cover gasket needs replacing
