Got the pleasant job next week of replacing both rear suspension top links on the D9 hdi. (the ones with a inboard bush and outer ball joint)

Im aware of the need for correct camber settings on the rear, and as such will be marking up the exact positions of the inboard bolts prior to removing, and indeed have got new genuine camber bolts/washers/nuts as well.

What im trying to find out is exactly what suspension geometry figures the 406 saloon should have?? I need to get the car 4 wheel aligned soon and i'd like to make sure the place that does it are getting the right result?

I've always found Kwik-Fit's massive laser alignment rig to be brilliant as long as you're standing around while the guy does the work. Also make sure the steering wheel's centred when it's on the ramp

406 Rear toe-in is 3mm + or - 1mm. or 0 degrees 25 minutes + or - 10 minutes.

Rear camber is 1 degree 50 minutes + or - 30 minutes.

I changed the two links last night, not the nightmare job i was expecting, passanger side was done in 15 minutes, no siezed bolts at all, drivers side took a bit longer, especially the ball joint bolt but no longer than 25 mins!

Got the camber bolts somewhere near where they were and have got it booked in to be 4 wheel aligned on saturday morning.

Only downside is i suspect i will be needing a middle and back exhaust section soon..

Is the estate the same, jasper?

The listings go off engine code, so, I assume all models, including the estate are the same settings.

I tried a few different engine codes, the listing was the same whatever code I entered.
