Can anyone tell me the oil capacity for my 2.2 sri estate please? I checked my handbook and it just has a line where the capacity should be where all other models it tells you Also what is recomended? Semi or fully synthetic?

I want to do the oil and filter and plugs but not sure how much oil I need to buy. I was gonna sell it and get an auto but done the cam belt and new clutch and new mot so looks like I have to keep her now so may as well look after her. I am considering a performance filter too but not sure it is worth it, what you think?

According to Autodata it's 4.25 litres with filter.

I had a feeling it was gonnna be more than 5ltr with the size of the engine. Makes it a little cheaper being that capacity.

I have no idea why it is not listed in the owners manual either. Unless it went to print before they knew the exact details with it being a new engine at the time.
