How hard to change coolant

Hi all

I need to change my coolant as i dont think its been done in a long time and wondered how hard it is as i remember doing it on a xantia but thet was a bit of a bitch also what coolant do i use.

Easy peasy.
There should be a drain off tap on the bottom of the rad; open this and release the pressure cap to prevent airlock.
When you are refilling park the front o/s wheel up on a kerb to get the filler higher than the rest of the system (otherwise you'll have to fashion a funnel to attach to the filler while you bleed the system)
There is a bleed screw on the thermostat housing and one near the bulkhead that bleeds the heater matrix. Bleed the 'stat one first; they look like bicycle tyre valve caps.

Neither of mine have one, I had to pop off the bottom hose :? There's supposed to be one on the engine too but I couldn't find that either.

Mines a 406 HDI 110 i havent looked where they are yet also it said it should be done at 72k i bought the car at 45k its now done 109k and i have never changed it and i dont think i had it done in a service what coolant do i need the stuff in there looks green. Also i havent noticed the fan ever come on since i bought the car 3+ yrs ago
