My 2.1td Puglet, gets a little moody when it rains or it on it's way. Sometimes idles lumpy and smokes a bit. Seems to prefer nice dry weather. Any ideas?

Thought you were going to say you, not the car. I know I get moody when it rains in July!!

Hmmm, that's a good 'un! Could atmospheric conditions cause this maybe, moisture in the atmosphere? Otherwise it may be damp getting into the electrics somehwere?

Quick, phone up the MET Office and tell them you've got something to replace their seaweed! :cheesy:

The only bits of the engine management that seem to be affected by atmospherics are the inlet air temperature and pressure sensors. I suppose rain on the way is usually accompanied by a drop in pressure. Other than that, there could be a damp connection somewhere and more moisture in the air makes it worse. Have a squint at the engine management ecu connector.
