Would it be possible for someone just to clarify something for me.
Ive been having an issue for a few days now.My car will heat up fine with a decent distance/space of time but
Whenever I put the blower on (be it at 14 or 30) the temp guage drops abit.It normally sits at just a smidge under 90 but can drop by 4/5 to about 85 with the blower on.Is this normal as its not something ive noticed before now.

Strange, the temp on mine sits around low 80's; the 'stat is rated at 84c off the top of my head.
Possibly dicky 'stat Iain?

Thankyou mate,Ive ordered a new stat thats hopefully with me tomorrow.Just need a new bottle of coolant and Ill change it.
I was going to reply earlier except Ive been having random connection issues.I got chance to read your reply and then it went off!

No worries, I've just had a day with the outlaws and my nephew's 1st birthday! Now it's time for a chill out!
Make sure you change the o-ring on the 'stat as well, I had coolant p1ssing out from the 'stat cover due to this.

Sounds fun.
I made sure I got one with a new gasket,and of course its still not here!
