MAP Sensor?

Looking for some advice!

Where is the MAP sensor on a '96 1.8 16V?

I pulled a sensor out of the inlet manifold with a grey connector thinking it was the air inlet temp sensor, is this it? Are they the same? The garage seemed to suggest the MAP sensor was around the same area. Please help!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

On the Bosch type it's above the alternator, if you follow the curve of the air intake manifold for number 2 cylinder to the front of the engine you should find it.

On the Sagem type, follow the curve of the intake manifold for number 4 cylinder to the front of the engine, the sensor is around here or under the manifold...not sure, the pictures are not very clear.
