Crafty gits...

We have a TPS sensor fault in our 406 2.0 HDi 90 so thought id take the old one off to check the part number...

Removed the airbox and associated gubbins to gain good access to the torx bolts..

They have filled them with some strange hard silicone stuff so you'd probably ended up rounding them off removing the hard plastic stuff they have filled them with :evil:

Buggers! Can you get to them to cut a slot in them with a hacksaw blade?

Possibly, although there pretty flush.

Could you dig out the plastic with a sharp pointed tool? I use a bradawl for such jobs.

just a thought but do any solvents, i.e. ones designed to remove glue? work on removing this stuff?
