can anybody help? my 1997 406 diesel has failed its mot and needs a steering rack with universal joint, can anybody recommend a breakers yard in the county durham area, or if not, an on-line supplier. this is from a total novice who wouldnt know a steering rack if it hit him on the head!! thanks

Pringles in Newburn (Newcastle) have loads of 406's in, and if you ring up and ask them nicely they may even take it off for you. Cheap too as I get loads of bits from there aswell.
