Yes, it can.

On the top transverse link, the inner bolt is eccentric, undo the nut and turn the bolt to adjust it, of course you will need specialist gear to set it correctly.

Yes, but the same bar also does the toe-in on the rear wheels so probably best left to the professionals.

The bolt on this bar adjusts the camber (up and down), the toe-in (side to side), is not adjustable, except on the front wheels.

I said specialist equipment is required to set it correctly, which would imply that it isn't a DIY job.

excellent thanks, ive looked into auto data books to check that rear wheels can be adjusted with the front and the can, via the very front bush.

thanks very much for info, as im looking into keeping my car, it needs tyres as the front and rear are both out, but rear camber is very bad since i dropped it 40mm!! just need to find a garage that does this now, shame specialist equipment is needed as i do everything on my car except parts where equipment like this is needed!! i may need to invest in some in the nearish future and build on my tools etc

So how do you adjust the toe on the rear? I'm sure they used this bar to adjust the toe when they aligned all 4 of my wheels as the rear was definately adjusted using the laser sights. I suppose it could have been something else they adjusted.

Places like Kwikfit and Hi-Q can do it. Cost me £50+VAT for all 4 wheels. I had mine all reset when I lowered it as you could tell when driving that all the settings were way off.

the bar that goes from the hub to the underside of the car, the image in the auto date books looked like the big bolt that goes through the bush at the front of that bar has some kind of adjustment, i need rear camber and all four wheels adjustment as ive lowered 40mm and all seems way out

I apologise, I just checked my Autodata, they call the adjustment that I was talking about "Toe-in" adjustment (the bolt on the transverse link).

Autodata list the camber as not adjustable, but if you think about it,moving that bolt alters the position of the wheel up and down,(in and out vertically), which to my way of thinking is adjusting camber.

I think the bar does both camber and toe-in as it is mounted on the front of the hub, so adjusting it outwards moves the camber out (from the top of the tyre) and the toe out at the same time. My rear wheels are still cambered slightly, but at least I now know that they are pointing in the same direction, and not trying to make the car oversteer anymore. I thought the same as you and didn't realise that the bar did the toe-in until I got it to the alignment place as I'd set it so the wheels were as near vertical as possible.

I think it's a pretty silly design not being able to get the hub/wheel sat right for any given wheel/tyre combo, but I guess that's just my own fault for running bigger wheels and lowered suspension.

yeah im gunna get under rear of my car again next week, i changed rear brake setup to discs and had to remove and replace all the rear bushes and bars!! so gunna go have another look at it, im running -40mm with 308 sport alloys(17x7j i think, or 7.5j, cant remember, 225/45/17 tyres)

well, before i decided whether to have a look myself or not, thought id go around my local area and get some prices on tyres and camber, front and rear wheel alignment, after finding out that kwick fit, ATS etc etc cant do it, everything was pointing towards the dealers... so i got myself down to my local pug dealer and asked for a price for front wheel adjustment, rear wheel adjustment and camber adjustments, the lass went to see the service tech and came back a few moments later, "£50 for all that" she said, well, i nearly fell over!!! i was expecting stupid prices!!!

so im getting the car booked in soon i think!!

tyres will be getting done at a mates garage, £170 for all four tyres fitted and balanced 225/45/17
