Anyone know what the internal/external size of an abs / relcutor ring would be for my 52 plated 2.0 hdi ??? The broken one was compltely bent and i ended up snapping it a second time trying to chemical weld it to the hub and so threw it away a while ago! Cant check the other sides ring as the car is currently sat in an airport car park and im in france at the parents place!! Want to check it out for when i get back!

Anyone tried the technique of putting the ring in the oven for a while and then sliding it over the cv joint end>>???

Just had the same problem with my 53 plate 2004 HDI s.

After much research and deliberation, I found that I could get a reluctor ring for £20 plus P&P or, get a whole new C.V joint and reluctor ring for £36. Needless to say I changed both front C.V joints (both rings had broken).

I have the old reluctor ring in the garage which I could measure up if required, but my advice is do not mess about with a reluctor ring and the pain of heating it up enough to fit easily, get a new c.v joint.
