hello all once again i need your help with my busted clutch!! turns out the plastic cup had broken on the end of the rod so as i write this its being fixd with araldite :D the only thing is, i wonderd if the reason it went was to do with lack of fluid, the Big problem is i just opended the resivoir and it was empty, then i was looking through the users manual and it clearly states dont take the lid off, now im very worried :?

so im asking you all is that a major problem? and can i just top the oil up?

No fluid?? How would that stop the thing moving? Well, if it's goosed already you could hardly make the thing worse by topping it up. I'm not sure why Haynes says don't take the cap off, perhaps there's concerns about letting dust in or something. Don't fill it right up, just in case.

If the reservoir's empty, chances are there's a leak. Leak means air and with no way of bleeding the closed system, it's pretty fatal. Why didn't they put a bleed nut on the things? :(
