Power steering fluid reservoir leaking? (check for ATF running under ECU box)

Or perhaps antifreeze from the overflow on the expansion tank ( have you had it topped up recently? )

I have not topped it up recently and was out a drive and everything is working as it should but will get the mechanic to have a look and see if he can see a leak anywhere.

Check it - if you run out the first thing you'll notice is a whirring noise, then your steering will get jerky. The next stop is the breakers 'cos the pump's gone.

My PAS pipe leak just sprays gunk everywhere... Orange/pink is much more likely to be coolant due to a leaking radiator

Sounds like a coolant leak! Check around the bottom hose for residue & the expansion tank.

Just been talking to the mechanic, he reckons (without seeing it) that it is power steering fluid he is to take a look at it at the start of the week. Will let you know the outcome.
