Hi there,
As said before bought the car with electircal problem (the wet footwell syndrome) which i still havnt got round to fixing (this month hopefully)!!
Anyway, since owning the car although im a little heavy footed, i have never been quite sure whether tim getting the correct mpg. Also sometimes though power us there, the car can feel very unwilling and un responsive and other times it feels very willing and quick of the mark. Bought the car with intention on saving money and so i overlooked its faults to a degree and have tried to concentrate on saving money. Well the other day was looking through cars paperwork and found a diagnostic print out of when i got it diagnbostic checked when first bought it (i didnt even realise they gave me a print out). At the time they said they could find nothing wrong (This is bloody robin and days peugeot of bristol, SCAMMERS!) . Having looked on the print out i have seen that i states the following:
Engine ecu - remote permananet fault. Brake comntact signal. No communication. Intermittent fault. Fuel pressure regulator fault. Stop requested but regulator still active.
Engine ecu: ECU Fault code P1138. Engine speed: 450rpm Regulator current: 71ma. Measured fuel pressure: 118 bars. Engine status: cruise control off, power latch active, air conditioning cut off inactive, EGR not active. Regulator OCR: 5%
Engine ecu: fault code p0571, engine speed 0 rpm, accelerator position 60%, battery voltage 60%, ignition controlled positive information input: No.
Built in systems interface: presence of fualts: MFD: ECU HAS NOT REPLIED, RADIO: ECUE HAS NOT REPLIED. CD PLAYER: ECU HAS NOT REPLIED. iNSTRUMENT PANEL: PRESENCE OF FAULTS. air conditioning: ECU HAS NOT REPLIED. Engine ecu: NO FUALT FOUND. Power steering: THE ECU HAS NOT REPLIED.Anyone understand all that??? I can only guess, im only mechanically minded not electrically!
