Just looking to see who's had the most 406s
I have had 2 of them, a saloon (had her 2 years) and a Coupe (had her a month now)
How many 406s have you had over the years?

Re: How many 406s have you had over the years?
Had a saloon 2.1TD GLX then moved to the coupe 2.2HDi SE before recently getting my current Mondeo.
Each and every one of these cars have been the best in their own ways: The saloon was more comfortable and I think handled better than the coupe. The coupe did everything in the looks department.
The Mondeo beats them both in most departments, but it's a much newer car, and so has an unfair advantage. Things move on, but there's no doubt in my eyes that the 406 was the best car at it's time.
That goes for
Saloon: Good Handling, looks and comfort
Estate: Good handling, looks, comfort and massive loadspace
Coupe: Stunning looks and some of the above.

Two for me; started with a 1.8lx 4 years ago which I upgraded into a GLX + trip comp minus the alloys, then I drove through a puddle which was a little deeper than I thought and bought my current tubby exec which I love to bits

Re: How many 406s have you had over the years?
Two.
First one was an R-plate 1.9TD. I paid too much for it and it was a complete lemon. After 12 months it had just about fallen to bits, so I got my current one. Should just have got a proper one in the first place.
