Any chance we could split each area of the forum (mechanical, electrical etc...) into D8 and D9. Would make it a damned sight easier to find info and avoid the first question on a new post "is it D8/9?"..... just an idea?! :?:

you could also do with somewhere, a description of what a D8 and what a D9 on the registration page is for newbies like me. it takes some working out when faced with a choice to answer....

While they have a few different systems (mostly electrical), D8s and D9s do share a heck of a lot of stuff and having half the amount of people looking at a problem would no doubt have serious consequences
