avatars removal on personal view

Post by pondweed »

hi - good forum - but I've come from one where the big colour avatars can be deselected on personal views.. they do get a bit wearing when you are just trying to read posts.

is this a feasible deselect option?

I also wondered about trying to delete posts (I accidentally made about 4 indentical) as cant find a way to do it!

Not sure about the avatars, but you should find some reference to editing & deleting posts Here

In some areas of the forum you can't edit or delete posts for some reason. But mostly if your quick and no one else has viewed your post there is an option to delete but you have to be quick.

Generally if you submit a post and it comes back with some error just ignore it, the post always seems to go through anyway - hence your multiple posts!

As for the avatars I don't think they are too bad on here. We all avoid the blinking/flashing ones which are annoying and the sizes are kept small.

In fact, you reminded me I need to put my avatar back in since the forum was backed up and lost some settings.
