Hi
Been a Bmw driver for the past 8 years but rising fuel costs made me get rid and buy something more economical so decided on a 406 diesel and found one with low mileage so bought it. In comparison the pug aint a bad car but where it excels is how much it's costing to run it.

Hello!
One of our other members 'Discopol' used to have a 740iL I think
I've had a couple of BM's in the past but shifted them on quickly
the BM forum I used to visit was a bit stuffy, they seemed to have constant debates about Michelin Pilot's and Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's
we're mostly a bunch of laid back geezers all ribbing each other

Hello and welcome to the club,
I did indeed used to have a a big BMW swapped to the 406 for exactly the same reason, best move i ever made,
sadly have since had to move on to a tractor (discovery) as the roads round here are bloody awful, so what did you have?
oh and as Welly rightly said, we do a fair bit of ribbing on here but if you need any real advice on the 406 these guys are truly amazing with their knowledge and quite happy to share.
Enjoy
