Hi all. I have been visiting for a while, then became a member in December, now time to say hello !
My name is Mark, I live in Cov and run a d9 2000 reg 2.0l 110 HDI estate that I bought in November. Had one five years ago that was a nightmare with massive electrical issues, then the fuel pump went and contaminated everything with filings so got rid.
This one had some problems but little ones which i have sorted so-far. I am a great supporter of old style scrappies but they are becoming rarer now. I think you should have a notice board on the site where members can put on any yards that have cars in being broken, with some details on.
Changed my front discs and pads today. Ferodo pads and the pad wear wires are too short so had to splice in the old wires to reach. That's poor! Couldn't believe the Stealers wanted £98 plus vat for the discs so went elsewhere.
