Yeah sod em! I'm also 22 and I've had a couple of comments, but these were from friends. ( I did drive a MK2 Golf GTI before so I suppose it is a bit of a change.) Mind you, I much prefer my 406.

yeah thats probably why i get funny looks and people commenting cause i have always had a small car ( nova, corsa, mitsubishi colt, slightly tuned corsa sport 1.6 16v,ford puma,5 door corsa, honda civic)
But apart from regretting selling my red corsa sport i dont really miss the others since i have got the 406. And anyone i had asked who own 1 before i took the plunge to get it all sung the 406 praises.

here is a pic of my corsa sport some might realise by looking at it why i regret selling it.
also for the reason they are 104 bhp standard and i had mine up to 120bhp.(had bigger plans but money always tight.lol)

yeah was a wee street sleeper alright.
i had a guy pull up in a mercedes slk/clk (the small 2 seater 1 anyways lol)
and laugh at me because i was driving a corsa. he was probably about 23/24 and thought he was the dude until i smoked him off the lights and left him about 2 car lengths then i slowed to let him past. and his mate just sat laughing with embaresment.

i had something similar bt 20yrs ago, only i was driving a rover p6 v8 :cheesy: i had just started to replace the panels on it cos they were all bolt on then  cos it was getting a respray, so it had different coloured wings doors etc,and i had also taken off the 3500 and v8 badges 8) and this guy cut me up comming into work but the lights changed :P so i pulled up next to him and left him for dead from the lights
