That's because 99% of us have standard cars

Be careful with the wheels though chappy the 406 is difficult to find a style that suits. I think 17's are the best looking in a multi-spoke design and a decent side wall (like a 50/55) not rubber bands. 19's will go on but look weird IMO. Even the later 03/04 reg standard 16' multi's are nice and have 'better' 205/55 tryes.

I would not be happy changing the wheels without suspension mods as the 406 was designed as a comfy family car not sports.

If you could find a subtle 30/35mm drop and strut braces and fit some new bushes and have the geomery set up you will probably get a reasonable set up for most use.

mine is factory spec too, just i need new alloys so thought ild take the chance to get one to replace the orignals as they are 15". (so was looking at 15" alloys)

also engine mods on a my hdi would be not yield good enough results to make it worth doing, still may get a upper strut brace to help with the already fantastic traction.

also today i got the common fault of the engine cranking over, as my fuel pump stopped working  still its been temp fixed untill i find a new one.
