Well I''ve had mine for nearly 7 years now, since it was 6 month old. The only problems I had have been a knackered egr valve and an irritating recurring misfire that no-one (dealers, specialists, local independant etc...) could resolve, took me about 3 years to realise the the plug gaps are opening themselves up over several thousand miles  . Apart from that it's been fine, really is a lovely mowtah and I've no intention of changing it soon.

Hello Davey & Welcome 8)

HPi's aren't that rare - reckon you lot outnumber us 2:1 :P
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

High Pressure Injection. Its a 2.0l 'lean burn' engine introduced in Nov 2000 for the 406. I believe it is a petrol version of the HDi in many respects.
2000 D9 Coupé 2.0 SE EW10J4 Scarlet Red - 5 litres of oil gone in 500 miles!!! Time for a new coupe me thinks
