It's about time I said hello!

I've lurked for a little while now, the knowledge on this forum is so impressive that all of my questions so far have been answered using the search function.

Location is Dunfermline, Real name is Alan, Age is irrelevant

Car is a 1999 (D9) Hdi 90, 91k miles, runs like good 'un. In fact I'm so happy with it I just bought another one!
A 2002 Hpi Executive (What's that? 4 Hpi's now?). I don't pick it up until Wednesday - can't wait.

Anyhoo, the fuel guage doesn't work so I got it at a really good price, the tank sender unit has been changed already so the first job will be taking out the instrument cluster looking for dry joints and making sure all the cables are well connected. If that doesn't work I'll be back on here asking questions....
