fan image on dash lights up in 4 stages but fan does not run - any suggestions?

Hi, and welcome

Do a search and you will find loads of info about this, from burnt wires on the heater motor to heater module failure, along with ignition switch faults.

The heater fan motor is under the glove box and the module is behind the centre console under the felt cover under the glovebox.

info very helpful - after tests the ignition switch seems most likely but i am having difficulty identifying fuse 27 in the engine fuse box as the layout is not shown in the Haynes manual.
