The climate working when it wants too is a "feature", something to do with the humidity inside the car... Anyway, best leave it alone as the last thing you want is condensation forming on electronics...
Anti pollution faults are the bane of modern cars, not had much experience myself (touches large lump of oak) but many have, so hold on for an intelligent response or use our unusually helpful search function

Are you getting the correct reading from the outside temp sensor? Also there is a little sampling fan up inside the courtesy light unit, these get clogged up but can be cleaned out.

There's quite a few potential causes for the old ANTIPOLLUTION FAULT, but, (unlike mine), your 110 is immune from the really expensive ones. If you're only getting the odd warning and no limp mode, I'd be tempted to leave it until it becomes a solid fault or you are able to get it diagnosed relatively cheaply once you know your way around a bit better.
