I was quite surprised that you did the respray and then started on the underneath (even with odd bits of rust etc under there) but having never restored a car I wouldn't know :oops:

Did you manage to get a brand new set of bumpers and side strips etc? good going if you did - I know you said your local dealer helped a lot sourcing parts.

Are you going to enter any concourse competitions with it?

i'd say a good 90% of parts are new genuine parts

most from main dealer, some from specialist (who have genuine parts), and some off the bay of e

a lot, and i mean a lot of money has been spent, but worth every penny.

when people say they did a nut and bolt rebuild, it's hard to believe, but i know exactly now what lengths they go to

i'd say the only thing that hasn't been out of the car is the dash

i do hope to take it too a few shows this year, and hopefully collect a prize or 2 :wink:
