Hi everyone I've just joined. I sold my 406 estate 110hdi glx w reg which I'd had for 7 yrs a month ago and I miss it badly.
I made the mistake of buying a 306 cabriolet special edition beautiful car but uncomfortable as hell.
Im looking for 406 est low mileage late reg. in superb cond. executive if poss.

Oh gees, there's nothing worse is there than parting with a car and then missing it

There's plenty around on Autotrader but I'll offer one bit of my own advice (which I would follow should I need to) and that would be to seek out a nice late R/S reg 2.1 12valve turbo d. Nice and simple, cheap, mappable, and you should have a budget there for odd niggles like suspension parts etc. Things like rear brake back plates have become an issue as have radiators but by and large they're a decent motor; but as I said that's only what I would do (had a bit of trouble with my HDi :( )

Opps, missed you there  Welcome to the klub :cheesy:

I don't think a 2.1 counts as late, they stopped making them in 1999 so they're all 11+ old. Having said that though, if I could find a mint one that's been well looked after and has good history I'd quite happily swap it for my HDi.
